It reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach and provides relief from symptoms and promotes healing.

Esotrax 40mg Tablet can also be used to prevent stomach ulcers caused by certain medications, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Take the medicine as per your doctor's prescription. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for, but it is usually the lowest dose for the shortest time that is needed to treat your condition. It is usually taken on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning or at least 1 hour prior to meal. Continue taking the medicine even if your symptoms disappear until the doctor say it is okay to stop. Esotrax 40mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Esotrax 40mg Tablet is recommended.
However, due to lack of data, exercised should be caution in patients with severe renal insufficiency.



Liver

CAUTION

Esotrax 40mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Esotrax 40mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, no dose adjustment is required for patients with mild to moderate liver disease.


WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE ESOTRAX TABLET?

If you miss a dose of Esotrax 40mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
