<p>ALLERGY</p>

<p>Do not take TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET if you are allergic to Atenolol and Chlorthalidone.</p>

<p>HEART DISEASE</p>

<p>TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe heart problems (such as uncontrollable heart failure, heart block, irregular or slow heartbeat or a very low blood pressure). Therefore, consult your doctor before taking it.</p>

<h2>OTHERS</h2>

<p>TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Are not passing urine at all</li>
<li>Have low blood potassium levels (hypokalemia)</li>
<li>Have low blood sodium levels (signs include tiredness, confusion, muscle twitching, fits or lack of consciousness)</li>
<li>High blood calcium levels</li>
<li>Have gout</li>
<li>Have Addison&rsquo;s disease (a problem in adrenal gland)</li>
<li>Have untreated phaeochromocytoma (a tumor present in the adrenal gland)</li>
<li>Have metabolic acidosis (high acid levels in the blood)</li>
</ul>

<p>Before taking TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you:</p>

<ul>
<li>Are severely dehydrated (due to diarrhea, vomiting or excess sweating)</li>
<li>Are on a low-salt diet</li>
<li>Have diabetes</li>
<li>Have high blood cholesterol levels</li>
<li>Have a very poor blood circulation across the body</li>
<li>Have thyrotoxicosis (increased activity of the thyroid gland)</li>
<li>Are allergic to insect stings</li>
<li>Have psoriasis (an autoimmune skin condition causing white patches)</li>
<li>Are scheduled for any operations or procedures</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Use in pediatrics:</strong></p>

<p>TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) due to lack of safety data. However, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.</p>

<p><strong>Use in geriatrics:</strong></p>

<p>TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients. Therefore, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.</p>

<h2>INTERACTIONS</h2>

<p><strong>A. Drug-Drug interactions:</strong></p>

<p>Before taking TENOCLOR 50MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines such as:</p>

<ul>
<li>Other medicines used to treat high blood pressure and angina (such as nifedipine, verapamil, diltiazem, enalapril, ramipril, atenolol, propranolol, metoprolol, clonidine, methyldopa, guanethidine)</li>
<li>Medicine used to treat irregular heartbeat (Ex. amiodarone, digoxin, quinidine or disopyramide)</li>
<li>Adrenaline (a medicine used to stimulate the heart)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat diabetes (Ex. insulin, metformin, glimepiride, glibenclamide, vildagliptin)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat nose or sinus congestion and other cold remedies (such as montelukast, fexofenadine, levocetirizine, dextrometophan)</li>
<li>Corticotropin (a medicine used to correct hormone problems)</li>
<li>Corticosteroids (used to treat pain and inflammation) Ex. prednisolone, betamethasone</li>
<li>Medicines used for cancer (Ex. temsirolimus, cyclophosphamide, methotrexate)</li>
<li>Medicines used to treat asthma (such as salbutamol, formoterol)</li>
<li>Amphotericin B (a medicine used to treat fungal infections)</li>
<li>Carbenoxolone (a medicine used to treat mouth ulcers)</li>
<li>Lithium (a medicine used to treat various mental health problems)</li>
<li>Anticholinergics (used to treat stomach muscle spasms) such as atropine, hyoscine</li>
<li>Medicines used to reduce blood cholesterol levels (such as cholestyramine, colestipol)</li>
<li>Amantadine (a medicine used for parkinsonism or viral infections)</li>
<li>Allopurinol (a medicine used to treat gout)</li>
<li>Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (used for pain relief) such as indomethacin, celecoxib, ibuprofen, aspirin</li>
<li>Medicines to prevent graft rejection (Ex. cyclosporin)</li>
